Poster drafts - Josh Brown

These are my poster ideas.

Poster draft 1

In this drawing, I drew our main character standing on a balcony over-looking the sea whilst posing in his way of visualizing a scene, by holding up is hands and creating a square. Then there will be a vertical line that runs right by our characters hands that separates a colour difference. The left hand side of the poster will be desaturated and the right will be very saturated. This will make it look like that his hands are the portal to a more high quality, vibrant looking scene.

Poster draft 2

In this drawing, I drew the posture that our main character uses to visualize a setting however i stretched the fingers of his hands out a lot. This gave me more space in the middle of his hands to add the title. I also thought it looked quirky and eye catching due to the peculiar looking fingers and thumbs. Inside the space would be very saturated colours to make it looks active, vibrant and energized. Outside the hands the scene would be desaturated to make the rest of the world look dull and unexciting. This would reinforce the idea that his hands act like a portal to a nicer looking setting.
