Filming Day

Filming

We all went to Brighton early on Thursday 3rd January morning and met up along the seafront. We quickly discussed what we needed to do to make up for our previous filming date that went wrong. We then made our way over to the opening shot spot. on this filming day, we did not have one of the college's HD cameras to use. Dom had bought along a Canon 550D HD camera that he had borrowed. However, we found this camera too difficult to use. For unknown reasons, the camera kept stopping video whilst we were trying to film. Luckily, Josh had bought along a smaller Fujifilm AX500 picture camera which had HD movie too. With no other options left, we decided to use the Fujifilm. Following the tracks of the previous filming day, we began to film the stair and beach sequences. We continued to film on the sea front until about 13:30 where we stopped for lunch and went into town. After lunch, we travelled into the North Lanes to get some short clips of interesting shops. Shortly after, we made our way to the Palace Pier for some shots of John and Mollie and then went to the Pavilion Gardens for our last shoots. We finished our Brighton shots just after 3PM.
